Hitting the second month of 2009 already and the buyers are starting to look more which is a good sign. January was not a big month of sales for the town of 4,000 however based on current showing requests February may prove to be a better month.

Statistics for January in the Rockford real estate market:

2 properties sold and both were new construction 4 bed, 3 bath homes with 2,692 finished square feet on average with a selling price of $242,200.
Both these properties were 2 story homes on the old Wagner property on the west side of town that Lennar is building on currently.
