The locals will know the site for the new Kwik Trip in Rockford as the “old Byerlys land”. Kwik Trip is getting ready to build a new gas station/convenience store on the corner of 55 & 50 in Rockford. The city council has approved the stage plan for the project proposed for 8090 CR 50. The vote was 3-1.

This lot has been vacant for many years and runs along the river. Discussions have included the egress and ingress, turning lanes, storm water, and overall site planning. If all the approvals, requirements and timelines are met a new Kwik Trip will be located in Rockford.
