Congrats to Derrick Monroe for selling another one of our commercial properties and a bigger congratulations to Kevin, the new owner and Chef of the Greenrock located in the Greenfield Mall in Greenfield MN.

Formerly known as the Gathering Grounds and changed to Greenrock Cafe in the mid 2000’s when it was sold the coffee shop unfortunately closed in November 2012 when The Derrick Monroe Group was called in and listed it for sale. As a Rockford resident myself it was sad to see it close and I know many others felt the same way. Well, great news, it’s not only back open but the new owner has brought a new burst of life and change by not only serving gourmet coffee but introducing some great food. I’ve already eaten there several times and its delicious. Made to order fresh sandwiches, deserts and salads for a price you wouldn’t believe I hope you all stop in for a visit and tell Kevin you heard about it on our web site.

I’m not 100% sure of the hours however I believe he is open 7 days a week and I know they are scheduled to have a booth at the Rockford Business Expo.
