Rockford experienced slower sales overall in June vs. same time last year however Rockford homes still moved when priced right and staged for selling, not sitting.  Out of the single family Rockford homes for sale during June 2008 including new construction 4 properties sold total with an average price of $168,000, low yes, however the average sales price was low because one of the sold properties was a bank owned foreclosure needing a full remodel or even tear down.  Remove the foreclosure property and the Rockford sold average for June rises to $201,454.

Out of the 4 homes sold in June we (The Derrick Monroe Group) sold 3 of them, the average days on market for these were 93.7 days and they achieved 98.7% of asking price on average.
