Sounds simple right? Well, it is but still, many agents either just don’t get it or they are not willing to put forth the time and energy to make things happen. I go on listing appointments all the time and sellers will say “the Realtor was great when we listed but after that we can’t seem to get a hold of them, they take days to return e-mails”, and so forth. I call these agents “list-em and leave-em” Realtors. They list the house and then seem to disappear. We communicate weekly with updates and feedback from showings if applicable. I will be the first to admit, one of my favorite things about this business is the deal. The deal I can get for my clients whether it’s selling their home for the best money the market will bring or negotiating terms on their purchase. Anyone can take an offer over the fax machine, bring it to the client’s house and tell them where to sign BUT we take it to the next level. We negotiate strongly to get not only the price you need/want but the closing date, personal property and contingency terms that best protect you. Part of why you hire us is to work with the other buyers or sellers agents to get terms that make your life as easy as possible when it comes to moving and your bottom line. With hundreds of sold properties under our belt you can be assured our negotiating skills are sharp and we will be ready to fight hard for your needs.
